This piece was done as a fan art contest for a comic by The Middle Ground's AkumaTH. The comic in question, Darkwing Beyond, takes place after the death of St. Canard's resident superhero, the mantle of which is taken up by his surviving daughter, Gosalyn. The comic features multiple nods to comic, cartoon, and video game pop culture, most natably, obviously, Darkwing Duck and Batman Beyond
This piece was drawn entirely with my tablet, there was no pencil sketch. My favorite thing about it is definitely the rain effects. And, incidentally, I won the contest.
