The Redeemers is a story written by Eric Rampson and is set to be printed by Ronin Studios. The story follows an up-and-coming Chicago rock band, whose growing fan base is not only due to how much they can rock, but because of how amazing their live show is! The special effects, the storytelling, the costumes! Or so it seems. The Redeemers actually all have REAL supernatural powers and are regularly challenged at their shows by demonic forces!
It's kind of funny that around page six, I started feeling like Dex was the character in this series I was strongest with, and then here in page eight is probably my weakest drawing of him. I think it's in the nose- made it too small here. Inversely, I love how Gabe came out in panel one and four, and while I think I drew Neil well, too, I think I pushed his anger just a smidge too far for what the story was calling for. Something else I really like about these last few pages- and this is one of those happy accidents you hear artists talking about from time to time- Gabe is in this dark and depressed state, and because he's in front of this brightly lit window, his face is cast in shadow for this entire sequence.
